Join us for a fun-filled afternoon with storytelling by Wague, a free raffle for books and dvds, and a new animated film about our favorite hero Kirikou!

French animator Michel Ocelot created this captivating third installment of the adventures of the mischievous and heroic Kirikou. Based loosely on West African fables, the film tells five stories of ingenuity and courage, as the tiny but fearless crusader saves his village from foes both natural and supernatural. Wise parables are told by combining classic hand-drawn animation with cutting edge computer techniques. This beautiful film is funny, clever, cunning, and buoyed by an exuberant musical soundtrack featuring the voice of superstar Angélique Kidjo. An absolute delight for the whole family.

In French with English subtitles.
