Fièvres tells the tumultuous tale of a 13-year-old Moroccan boy, displaced and prone to violence, who learns after his mother is sent to prison that he has a father who lives in a poor working-class neighborhood in Paris, France. Rather than being placed in another foster home, Benjamin chooses to live with an unknown father in an unknown country. His arrival turns the lives of his father and grandparents completely upside down. They have no idea how to handle this wild, angry, cruel boy. Randomly wandering through his new neighborhood, Benjamin meets Claude, a poet living in a caravan, who introduces him to a dreamlike world of art and poetry. But will this be enough to save him? Winner of the Golden Stallion of Yennenga, top prize for Best Film at the 2015 FESPACO Pan-African Film Festival in Burkina Faso.
